Rigid Nipples
East Electrical’s rigid conduit nipples are manufactured from high-strength conduit shells in accordance with the latest specifications and standards of ANSI C80.1(UL6).
The interior and exterior surface of these nipples are free from defect, with a smooth welded seam. They are are thoroughly and evenly coated with zinc using a hot dip galvanizing process to provide protection against metal-to-metal contact and corrosion. The shorter nipples are electric plated while the longer lengths have a clear, post-galvanizing coating to provide further protection against corrosion.
Our standard nipples are produced in normal trade sizes from ½“ to 6” The nipples, including close nipples, are available in 1-1/2”, 2”, 2-1/2”, 3”, 3-1/2”, 4”, 5”, 6”, 8”, 10”, 12” lengths. Custom options are available upon request.
These nipples connect and extend the length of rigid steel conduit.
