Rigid conduit couplings connect electrical steel conduits together, thus extending the length of the conduit pipe. East Electrical’s rigid couplings are manufactured from seamless steel pipes according to ANSI C80.1 and UL6 standards, with UL certificate number of E308290.
The available trade sizes of our rigid couplings are from 1/2” to 6”. The rigid conduit couplings are made using hot-dipped galvanizing on the external surface and electro-galvanizing on the internal thread. Zinc plating is used on both the internal and external surfaces. The internal surface can also be electro-galvanized completely.

- Underwriters Laboratories Standard for EMT-Steel (UL797)
- National Electric Code® 2002 Article 358 (1999 NEC® Article 348)

- The UL product category for Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) is FJMX.
